Yes, we are always taking new patients.
Do I need a referral?
No, just call our office or book online. No referral is needed.
Is there a fee?
Yes, We are a private billing practice. Our fees cover all scans, images, testing done on the day of your visit. In most cases a Medicare rebate is available and we can claim on your behalf on the spot.
What private Health Funds do you take?
We take all private Health Funds. If you have a private Health Fund with Extras Optical Cover, we can claim your benefits immediately through our HICAPS system for your purchase of spectacles or contact lenses.
Do you see children?
Yes, we see patients of all ages.

I started Bryan Stevens Optometrist in 2005 after taking over the practice from David Neislon. I am a local being born in Mareeba and have family history from the Tablelands.
